Profile

Research × implementation

Evidence, systems and better care.

Philip Boakye — Data, People, Places, Healthier Tomorrows

I am an epidemiologist, biostatistician and health-informatics specialist with more than 15 years of experience connecting public-health evidence, diagnostic systems and implementation.

Based in Accra · Work across Ghana and Sierra Leone

Professional direction

One integrated practice.

My work sits at the point where a health-system question becomes a dataset, a workflow, a digital system and—ultimately—a decision affecting care. I have worked from hospital biostatistics and laboratory information systems to national HIV Strategic Information and digital-health scale-up.

I am preparing for doctoral research focused on integrated diagnostic and Strategic Information systems, implementation science, continuity of HIV care, viral suppression and equity in resource-constrained settings. My consultancy practice applies the same perspective to assessments, analytics, system implementation, capacity strengthening and programme learning.

700+ART sites supported through DHIS2 individual-level tracking
25+hospitals reached through laboratory systems delivery
